Just to add, I got my comprehensive insurance with all the riders at 44k which was about 28k lesser than what the dealership quoted. Amazon search yields some adapters enabling the same. Checked with a tyre shop for replacement and he told that he can buyback at 4,000/piece though he suggested to continue with JK tyres suggesting that both Creta/Seltos higher models have these tyres and are one of the best tyres supplied by JK and customer feedback isn't that bad.ģ) Has someone tried converting wired Android Auto to wireless using some adapters. I was told that seats are hot owing to car being parked in open area and should be running fine as you drive it for sometime.Ģ) Stock tyres are sourced from JK although previous batch (of HTX+) had Good Year tyres. However, I am slightly concerned on the following:ġ) Cooling effect of ventilated seats was not noticeable although I could feel the vibrations. Found most of the things in order especially the ac which cooled the car parked in bright sunlight in less than 2 mins. The vehicle looked fine and I was told that I can switch on the ignition and test if systems are working properly, however, I cannot drive the car even for like 10 feets within the stockyard area. It arrived dealer's stockyard on Thursday and I went for a PDI yesterday. So I got a call from SA last week and was informed that my vehicle has been dispatched. The route goes past so many landmarks that it is really hard to mention them all without writing down a list of everything there is to see and do in San Francisco, but here are a few of the highlights:įrom Chinatown to Haight-Ashbury, you will pass through some of San Francisco's most iconic neighborhoods and given Scenic Drive 49 makes its way through so much of the city pretty much every sight you might want to stop at is only a short diversion off the route.Hence, changed the booking to HTX+ again though will miss 360 camera and EPB (ADAS isn't of much use in Indian conditions as per my experience with XUV) but just can't compromise on interiors which will be user's primary touch/interaction point. You get to explore some of the older parts of the city in the morning and as you are driving through North Beach, Fishermans Wharf and the Presidio of San Francisco, you get to look at views of the San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz and the magnificent Golden Gate Bridge, rather than having them behind you all the time. You can follow the route in either direction, but I do think going anticlockwise is the better route. Some say that that real start and end point are by the San Francisco City Hall on Polk Street or Larkin Street depending on whether you go clockwise or anticlockwise, but I like to think of it starting and finishing the heart of the city at Union Square. I saw some inaccurate maps and ones that were very hard to actually follow on other sites so I thought I'd put together a much more detailed one here.Īs the route is a loop, you can technically start and end it wherever works for you or near where you're staying in San Francisco. Scenic Drive 49 RouteĬheck the map below for the exact route to follow for the Scenic Drive 49. If you haven't seen one for a while, it probably means you've gone off track. Look out for the helpful signs all along the length of the route telling you which way to go. The route was originally created in 1938 to showcase San Francisco's best sights and attractions in time for the 1939 Golden Gate International Exhibition. You can easily spend a few days exploring it if you actually make stops to see the museums, parks, beaches and other locations along the way. The 49 Mile Scenic Drive is one of the best ways to spend a few hours exploring some of the city's best sights and views.
